Widely known from Edward Greenspan's A-1 Pegger in the 50s' pedal pusher pants are uniquely constructed without a waistband, but  with pleats and panels allowing the trouser to create width in the hips and closeness at cuffed hem, side-pockets and patched pockets on hips.
